Programs by Qyler
Qyler Gunning believes strength and conditioning should do more than improve athletic performance. It should help athletes build resilience, confidence, discipline, and long-term durability both on and off the field. As a former student-athlete who navigated his own injury setbacks, Qyler understands firsthand the importance of proper training, recovery, and preparation in helping athletes reach their full potential.
With experience coaching across the high school, collegiate, and sports performance settings, Qyler has worked with athletes in football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, track and field, and more. Prior to joining Momentum Fit, he served in leadership roles within NCAA Division II strength and conditioning programs, including Interim Head Strength Coach and Director of Sports Performance. Qyler’s coaching philosophy centers around building well-rounded athletes through functional, ground-based, multi-joint movement patterns that improve strength, mobility, body control, and performance carryover to sport.
He emphasizes quality movement, intentional programming, and long-term athletic development while helping athletes reduce injury risk and improve confidence in their physical abilities. Known for his relatable coaching style and ability to connect with athletes, Qyler creates an environment that challenges clients while making training enjoyable and rewarding. He believes athletes perform best when they genuinely enjoy the process and develop confidence through consistent progress and hard work.
Qyler holds a Master of Science degree and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. He also holds certifications in sports performance, nutrition coaching, and mobility training, allowing him to take a comprehensive approach to athletic development and overall performance.
