What Does Personal Training Cost, and Is it Worth it?

Level Up Your Fitness: Why Our Trainers Are Worth the Investment (cost) for You

Do you live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida? Have you ever wondered what personal training costs in the state? Are you ready to achieve your health and fitness goals? A personal trainer can be your perfect partner, but the price tag can vary wildly throughout the state, and we would like to tell you why. Here at Get Momentum Fit, we’re all about transparency. We want you to understand why our trainers are worth every penny of your investment in you.

Florida’s Personal Trainer Terrain: A Price Range with a Reason

Personal training in Florida can range from $30 to over $100 a session. This range reflects the trainer’s experience, education, and certifications. At Get Momentum Fit, our personal training sessions average $75/hour/session. We have a range of packages and options for small group personal training that are a bit more budget-friendly so that there is something available for everyone. We boast a team of college-educated and highly qualified trainers, several with master’s degrees (some are fitness rockstars and still chasing even more knowledge!). But that’s not all. Most of our trainers are armed with the industry’s gold-standard certifications: NSCA CSCS and ACSM-EP.

Why Does Certification Matter?

Think of your trainer as your fitness GPS. Their education and certifications ensure they can:

  • Craft Killer Workouts: They know proper technique, injury prevention, and how to design programs that fit your goals and fitness level.
  • Motivate You Like Nobody’s Business: Sticking with a plan can be challenging. Our trainers provide expert guidance, unwavering support, and that extra push to help you reach your full potential.
  • Offer Specialized Knowledge: Many of our trainers have areas of expertise, like weight loss, sports conditioning, or pre/post-natal fitness. You get targeted guidance for your unique needs.

The Get Momentum Fit Difference: Trainers with NSCA CSCS and ACSM-EP Certifications

Now, let’s talk about what makes us different! Our team of personal trainers hold these top-tier certifications:

  • NSCA CSCS: These trainers are strength and conditioning gurus. They design programs to optimize your athletic performance, build serious strength and power, and keep you injury-free.
  • ACSM-EP: These trainers are experts in exercise science and physiology. They create safe and effective workouts for a wide range of clients, including those with health conditions or specific goals.

Beyond Basic Certifications: Why These Credentials Rule

Sure, general certifications are good, but CSCS and ACSM-EP are the champions’ league of the fitness world. Here’s why:

  • Supercharged Knowledge: These certifications demand a deeper understanding of biomechanics, exercise science, and program design compared to basic certifications.
  • Specialized Skills: CSCS trainers excel at maximizing athletic performance, while ACSM-EP trainers are experts in exercise adaptations for various populations.
  • Rigorous Testing: Earning these certifications requires a degree as well as passing tough exams that test knowledge and the ability to apply it in real life.

Get Your Personalized Training Fix: Private vs. Small Group

We offer personalized training at three levels:

  • Private Training: One-on-one sessions have a range of packages that range from $60-$95 per hour. This allows the trainer to focus entirely on you and your goals.
  • Semi-Private Training: Imagine you and a friend or two or you and your significant other enjoying a private training session together. This gives you a built-in support system as well as expert guidance that is focused on helping you achieve your individual goals. The packages range from $47.50 – $60 per session/per person.
  • Small Group Training: This is our most cost-effective option ranging from $27.50 – $40 per session. Groups are capped at 8 people, but generally average 4-6 people per session, so you still get quality instruction in a supportive environment.

Unsure if Private Training or Small Group Training is Best for You?

No worries! Here’s a quick breakdown:

Go Private If:

  • You have unique goals or limitations.
  • You crave a completely individualized program.
  • You prefer one-on-one interaction with the trainer and their undivided attention.

Small Group is Perfect If:

  • You enjoy a group atmosphere and the energy it brings.
  • You’re comfortable working out with a small number of people.
  • You’re looking for a budget-friendly option with expert guidance.
